School Time

I just had to try out Papertrey Ink's "School Time" stamps. (It's almost too much fun!) I think next time I play with this set, I'll make the dark blue/black cardstock look like a blackboard! Oh, joy, to be home from school and play with my School stamps! Did I mention that I work as a teacher? Happy Saturday, everyone!

JAG var tvungen att testa Papertrey Inks "School Time" stämplar. (Nästan lite för skoj!) Nästa gång tror jag att jag ska använda det mörkblå/svarta cardstocket att se ut som "svarta tavlan". Å, vilken lycka att vara hemma från skolan och leka med mina skolstämplar! Jag har väl nämnt att jag jobbar som lärare? Ha en bra lördag, allihop!

I am getting much better at stamping. (4 different inkpads used on the apple!)

Grandma's Jungle Card/Mormors djungelkort

IT'S time for a new little card. I've been so busy at work that I've not been able to be doing any creative stuff for quite some time. Next week promises to be the same... But in the meantime I actually decided to do some stamping!
I came up with this card that looks like it's made by my grandma! Though, this one is actually made by me!
Grandma and I always loved the same colours, the same flowers, the same patterns. We were very similar in many ways, grandma and me. I miss you, grandma!

DET är dags för ett nytt litet kort. Jag har haft så mycket att göra på jobbet att jag inte har haft någon tid för annat. Nästa vecka ser ut att bli likadan. Men igår fick jag lite tid till att testa mina stämplar!
Resultatet blev ett kort som ser ut som om det är gjort av mormor. Mormor och jag hade exakt samma smak. Jag saknar dig, mormor! Du skulle ha gillat det här kortet...

Sookie Stackhouse - my way!

I just finished reading "Dead Reckoning" by Charlaine Harris. No, I've this far refused to watch "True Blood". (I'm afraid that the pictures in my head that I create when I read these wonderful books will vanish! It's such a charming book series! Btw, I've heard that the story of the TV series is nothing like the books... I'll stick to the books - they are so cute and fun!) The card today is a tribute to "my" pictures of Sookie Stackhouse and her world.
I printed out a pic of Faith Hill and used tons of PTI stamps.
(Doesn't she look exactly like Sookie? She does in my head!)

I used the same sketch as the WMSC, last week. The more I looked at that card I made for the challenge, the more I saw that the house from Boards and Beams stampset IS Sookie's house... I just had to make this one!
The vampire from my Martha Stewart Vampire stampset from last year just needed to be in there too!

JAG slutade precis läsa "Dead Reckoning" av Charlaine Harris. Jag har totalvägrat att titta på "True Blood" på TV, trots att jag vet att serien är baserad på böckerna. (Jag kan för mitt liv inte överge bilderna jag har i huvudet från denna oerhört charmiga bokserie!) 
Kortet idag är en hyllning till "mina" bilder av Sookie Stackhouse och hennes värld.
Jag printade ut en bild på Faith Hill på vår skrivare och använde massor av PTI stämplar. 
(Ser inte Faith ut precis som Sookie? Det gör hon i alla fall i mitt huvud!)


Jag använde mig av samma grundskiss som jag gjorde förra veckan till WMSC. Ju mer jag tittade på förra veckans kort, desto mer insåg jag att huset från Boards and Beams verkligen ÄR Sookies hus...
Vampyrstämpeln från förra årets Martha Stewart Vampire-stämplar var ju också tvungen att vara med!

WMSC #67

I think I've discovered how sketches make me creative - they seem to get my imagination flowing!

More thick acorns!

I made some neat acorn clothspins as well! I just had to show you how one look like! (The buttons are also layerd with the MIM technique of the week, though I forgot to take a picture from the side to show them!)
This card is entered in 2 competitions: MIM #34 and WMSC #67, since it fits both criterias! :)
