A brave landing/En modig landning

If you click on the pic, you'll see the textures better... Sorry about the bad light, it's still winter here, up in the North!

I don't like to fly, but I like old cute planes. But just to look at! This one is going for landing, in cloudy, somewhat snowy weather, and it just might be fire everywhere... Or metallic paint?
The black sparkling glitter is totally amazing, but of course you can't see how great it is on this picture! :( Glitter hardly ever shows as it looks like in real life, metallic paint - same problem...
I hope the recipient of this card will like it, though. :)

Stuff used:
Stamps: PTI -Fly away
Ink: A-muse - Slate, Memento - Tuxedo black
Other: PTI True black saddlestitch ribbon, Sizzix diecut gears, Tarnished brass and Antiqued bronze Metallic Crackle Paint - Ranger, Snowflake powder, black cardtstock and papers from my stack... (The background paper may be "Christmas" från My Mind's Eye (2009), but I'm not totally sure...)

Hydrangea Horse Card/Hortensia och en häst

I've always been a huge fan of the Hydrangea bush we had in my parents' garden. I used to take in the flowers, dry them and keep them for a year, until I could get new ones. I was thinking how I could make my EK success punches to make hydrangeas, instead of the usual apple blossom style flowers, and this is what I came up with. I think I got the pink, the white and the brownish hues rather similar to the real ones. I used mists and tattered rose reinker, and yes, the flowers are made of coffee filters (white and unbleached). I added some beads and small plastic half domes to resemble dew...

The background is made with PTI's woodgrain impression plate. First I sprayed some Glimmer mists on the teal cardstock, ran it through my Cuttlebug, and later when it was dry enough, I sponged it with Fresh Snow ink from PTI.

Stuff used:
Stamp: Horses by Inkadinkado
Ribbon: PTI Saddlestitch - Hawaiian shores
Other: Beads, plastic tiny half domes, cofee filters (white and unbleached), Tattered Rose reinker (Ranger), Glimmer mists (Tattered Angels), PTI woodgrain impression plate, Spellbinders label one die, Fresh snow ink, EK success retro flower punches (small and medium), kraft cardstock.

A Wedding in Sherwood Forest/Ett bröllop i Sherwoodskogen

I'm really enjoying mini banners! I had to make another banner, immediately!
When I was in Carcassonne in France, some years ago, I found a very wonderful wall hanging. I wanted to make a little banner that reflects that Medieval style. This is what I came up with.
The tree on the big flag didn't give me any other option - I just had to let it hang from the trees in Sherwood Forest!

A bit of Robin Hood, a bit of Narnia and a bit of Tolkien...
I wonder who'll get this card!?!! ;)

Stuff used:
PTI stamps: Leaf prints, Love and Marriage
Inks: A-muse Navy, A-muse Fern, Memento Summer Sky, Memento Bamboo leaves,Versa Color Pinecone.
Other: Paper roses from My Moments - Coral, brown dotty ribbon, Baker's twine, white plain lightweight cardstock, light blue textured cardstock, Prima lace, copic pen (-for the leaves of the tree on the banner!)

YEP, Betsy you're the best!
I am going to make some cards this year, inspired by the DT-people I admire the most. Hopefully it will make me learn a lot! My new year's resolution was to try lots of new techiques this year - and this is the first time I make banners on cards, with twine and all!

Betsy Weldman (from Papertrey Ink's Design Team) is fantastic!  This is her card I used as inspiration:

Cough against art!/Hosta mot konst!

HI, everyone!

I know that many of you have been checking regularily if I've made anyting new. (It feels strange that you actually take time to check my blog out! Thank you!)
I've not been totally healthy, these past few weeks. It's not anything serious, though. We seem to have something called the "6-week-cough" at work, and of course I got it! It makes me a bit tired and uninspired! I also have much to do at work since I work a little bit more then full time...
I hope I'll be back soon with something to show! The good thing with not making anything, is that the brain starts to get new ideas for cards, altered art and other projects...

Take care everyone, and please dodge the "6-week-cough"!
