I just finished reading "Dead Reckoning" by Charlaine Harris. No, I've this far refused to watch "True Blood". (I'm afraid that the pictures in my head that I create when I read these wonderful books will vanish! It's such a charming book series! Btw, I've heard that the story of the TV series is nothing like the books... I'll stick to the books - they are so cute and fun!) The card today is a tribute to "my" pictures of Sookie Stackhouse and her world.
I printed out a pic of Faith Hill and used tons of PTI stamps.
(Doesn't she look exactly like Sookie? She does in my head!)
I used the same sketch as the WMSC, last week. The more I looked at that card I made for the challenge, the more I saw that the house from Boards and Beams stampset IS Sookie's house... I just had to make this one!
The vampire from my Martha Stewart Vampire stampset from last year just needed to be in there too!
Hope you enjoy my very non traditional Halloween Card of today!

I have the first of the series on my iPad now, for some reason I just haven't started reading. Once I do I'm betting I won't get a thing done. Love the card! I'm totally one of those crazy vamp Mom's. LOL
SvaraRaderaThanks Joyce! It's a really good book series. Ever since I read the Narnia series as a kid, I love alternative worlds, that so resembles our own, but where stuff can happen in a different way...
SvaraRaderaI love the "what if?" about fantasy and science fiction.
If you pull your thoughts to the limit - what are the consequences? They're usually quite scary, and maybe we should explore that sometimes and learn a bit more about ourselves?
You know, "learn from other people's mistakes"... At least I know what to do if I ever meet an angry vampire, LOL! XD
very creative card, I do not know of the book, but your card is awesome! hope you have a great day!
SvaraRaderaenjoy *~*
