A Christmas Barn

I don't know, it's a bit early for Christmas, but I started to play with my barn die... and all of a sudden my project turned into a Christmas card! I got most of my new Christmas stamps a bit late last year, and because of that I have some new stuff that I need to try out!

Some tips and tricks concerning aging the barn:
  • Stamp the wood grain stamp on Pure Poppy cardstock with Pure Poppy ink. (It looks much better in real life!)
  • The white trimmings on the barn were aged down with Old Paper Distress ink. (None of my other ink colours looked good at all!)

"God jul" means "Merry Christmas" in Swedish.

Stuff used:

PTI stamps: Holiday Lights, BB: Farm and Barn
PTI dies: On the farm, In the meadow, Block alphabet die collection (lower case), Holly jolly and Shape up: barn die.
Inks: PTI (True black), Versa Magic (Turquoise gem, Aquatic splash, Mango madness)
PTI CS: Pure poppy, Ripe avocado, Sweet blush, Vintage cream and Classic craft.
Other: Embrodery floss, blingstones, small pearls, washi tape and glossy accent.

  1. Oh, this is fabulous! I love the Christmas lights on the barn! My daughter just oohed and ahhed over your card and said: "We need to do that!"

  2. Would never think to do this - although it really should be obvious to use a barn at Christmas. Thanks. Great job.
