Merry Christmas!/God Jul!

JUST a short post today, to wish all of you a Merry Christmas! We're dressing up the tree, baking chocolate cakes and trying to make everything ready for Christmas...

Two (s)tags and a Card (MIM #41)

I had to make more stuff with the Essential Glue Pad.
(It's the new Papertrey Ink's MIM #41 that have got me hooked on this technique!)
That little glue pad is my favorite at the moment! So, here's the result...

The heavy chipboard was treated this way:
1. Snowflakes in two sizes stamped with Fresh Snow Ink.
2. Sides inked with Fresh Snow Ink.
3. Stag stamped with Tuxedo Black (Memento).
4. Spruce stamped with Vintage Touch Chai Ink
5. Birds stamped with Tuxedo Black (Memento).
6. Small snowflake stamped with the Essential Glue Pad.
7. Some glue from the Essential Glue Pad added to the bottom of the chipboards.
8. Glitter added! (Optional: Stickles and Snow Powder.)

Snowy Village Accordion Mini/Vintergatan minialbum

I woke up with fever this morning and now I feel bummed out that I can't go visiting a very good friend and her wonderful family. Blech! (We were even planning to go riding in the snow!) I got a tiny bit cheered up when the sun came out enough to make it possible to take some pictures... The camera was unusually heavy today, though.

Jag vaknade imorse med feber. Nu känner jag mig ledsen för jag fick ställa in ett jätteroligt besök hos en väldigt god vän och hennes fantastiska familj. Blä! (Vi som t.o.m. hade bestämt att ta en ridtur i snön!) Jag blev lite glad i alla fall när solen behagade komma fram så mycket att jag äntligen kunde ta de där bilderna... Kamran kändes ovanligt tung idag, av någon anledning.

I already warned you that I may go mixed media with no previous warnings. Looking at the things I've recently created I found that I have rather much "other stuff" that I may publish, waiting for my scrapbooking stuff to catch up. Let's start with this one...

Jag har redan varnat er att jag kan publicera annat som egentligen inte har så mycket med scrapbooking att göra, i väntan på att jag ska hinna ikapp med scrappandet... Jag måste skapa för att må bra. Det är livsnödvändigt! Låt oss starta med en titt på något annat som jag också har gjort....

The moss heart is made to hang on a door. The size is about 23 x 26 cm and it has a painted wooden key, 2 dark red felt hearts, spanish moss, two different sizes of pins with graphite grey bead heads and some silver coloured spiralised metal thread.

Mosshjärtat är tänkt att hänga på en dörr. Storleken är ungefär 23 x 26 cm. Material (förutom mosshjärtat självt): en målad tränyckel, 2 mörkröda filthjärtan, spansk mossa, nålar i två storlekar med grafitgråa huvuden och silverfärgad spiralvriden metalltråd.

"What IS that? Sun?!"

We've not seen the sun for awhile. November and December (so far) has been the snowiest ever. It's not easy to take photos then. It still isn't ideal light conditions, but it gives some dramatic shadows, as you can see. Fortunately I could take pictures even in the shadow, without artificial light.
I don't know if you see what I see. When you see the front and the back cover - at the same time - it's the front of Santa's coat... (You can see that, right?)


Vi har inte sett solsken på ett tag. Som ni alla vet har november och december varit snöigare än någonsin (hittills). Jag vaknade imorse och utbrast förvånat "Vad är det här? Sol!?". Jag som precis gjorde klart tomtens fotoalbum igår kväll! Då kan jag fotografera direkt! 
Jag vet inte om ni ser det, men när man ser båda pärmarna på albumet ska det se ut som Jultomtens rock. (Ni ser det, va?)

Christmas Paper Bag Mini Album/Litet julfotoalbum av papperspåsar

"God Jul" means "Merry Christmas" in Swedish!

My last project - a small paper bag mini album meant for photos. I've added more photomats in the paperbags for more "real estate"! When all the photos are in place this may be a thick and heavy piece!
Senaste projeket - ett litet fotoalbum för julkort och annat. I papperspåsarna ligger fler "fotomattor" som det är meningen att man ska klistra in ännu mer foton på...
